THE STORY
Corey is an alternative pop/rock artist based out of Atlanta. He describes his mission as "writing songs to make life a little brighter."
He's always been fascinated with music, and the power it has to elevate the moment, forge new memories, and share experiences.
Corey began playing piano as a kid to avoid playing sports, but over time he really grew to love the instrument. After writing his first melody, he became completely hooked on creating music, and knew he would spend his life writing songs or die trying.
Later on, he attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production.
After moving back home to Georgia, he began playing gigs around Athens and Atlanta, including such iconic venues as 40 Watt, Eddie's Attic, and The Georgia Theatre.
In the summer of 2020, he began work on his debut album "Story of the Seasons". The idea being that each of the 12 songs would represent a month of the year. He made good on that vision by recording, producing, mixing, and releasing a new song every single month, which gradually grew a devoted fan following in the process.
To date, his songs have over 60,000 streams on Spotify, and his Youtube channel receives over 20,000 views every single month.
He hopes to someday make it to a top 10 spot on the rock charts, and is working towards that goal every day.
